Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was is born in Minsk (the capital city of Belarus), is the daughter of Sergey. Sergey, her father (who passed away in the year 2019), was an ice-hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born May 5th, 1998 in Minsk Belarus. She has won 12 WTA titles to her name in her career. Among them is the Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. She is also an excellent doubles player. She's won two other Majors in this category, the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both alongside Elisemertens. Additionally, she was able to complete the Sunshine Double in 2019, by winning in the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open alongside Elise Mertens. Just four couples managed to make it happen in women's doubles. In the month of January, 2023, she reached her highest ranking in singles. The 23rd day of August 2021, she climbed up to number two in the ranks. She rose into the top spot of the rankings for doubles in the next year after triumphing at Melbourne. It made her the second Belarusian tennis athlete to be successful in tennis. She was coached by an ex- Russian tennis player Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until at the end of season in 2019 and at the beginning of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann played a short partnership with her from the month of August to September. As of the year 2020's end, she's been coaching by her fellow countryman Antonio Dubrov. Her top idols include Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
